Paradise Please

So Adam and I took our first trip...well...since we've had kids that is. Yep...first time flying since kids, and first time being away from them for more than 24 hours! (we don't count hospital stays)

We were able to take a trip to Puerto Rico! And the best part...it was all paid for by the company Adam works with. Yep...earned the trip...and happy to say we are not missing another one...(they do a trip every year) So...alas...every February from now until forever we will be working on our tans...unless we go to Alaska...

Here are a few highlights:

Red-eye flights...don't recommend those! We left in sweatshirts and wound up changing into flip-flops and capris when we got there...perfect weather!!

Can't beat the view from our room!

Coqui Water Park...the resorts private water park...where the hamburgers are only $7 vs. the $14 burger on their private island! We won't even mention the pina coladas....yum!

...good food is always a plus!

Creatures we don't see in Utah! There were Iguana's all over the place...and we loved the chirping of the Coqui frogs!

Soft, clean sand....ahhhhhhh! So sad you all missed Adam's interpretation of David Hasselhoff!

Boat rides to private islands!

Adam snorkeling...there's a first time for everything....and he was a "natural!"

Fancy dinners...that is a salad...I promise. The mango dressing made the whole trip worth it!

A day trip to Old San Juan .......

where we visited an old historical fort....Castillo San Cristobal.

It was built over 150 years ago to help protect the city of San Juan.....this place was amazing!

Old San Juan....I loved this place...loved the small streets and amazing color and architecture. Plus...great shopping!

...and last but not least...great new friendships! Can't wait to travel with you all again....soon!!
