Birthday Bash!

We had a fabulous day celebrating Adam's birthday! I took the boys to the store the day before and let each of them pick out a present. Logan got dad the Go Fishing Game and some chocolate licorice...their favorite! Nathan picked out a very nice...enormous blue ball and some reases peanut butter cups...his favorite! I had a hard time convincing Logan to wrap dad's present, but he had a ball doing it. Then I had him hide the presents under his bed. As soon as Adam got home Logan said, "Hey dad, I got you some presents under my bed...it's a fishing game!"
The morning of the big day Logan was up at 6:30 a.m. helping me decorate and make a cake!
Adam took the day off work, and we had a nice day together. Logan was upset when there were no more presents, and is already asking who's birthday is next!

Another amazing thing that happened on Adam's birthday was both of our boys took naps at the exact same time! This hasn't happened in well over a year and we were going to take full advantage of it and nap ourselves, but instead this is what we did....

We got a call from our neighbor who said, "I think you have a leak in your yard...there is water running out into the road." Little did she know the leak from coming from her valve box. It flooded her back yard and all drained into our yard. So...Adam got a push-broom and pushed the water out into the street so it wouldn't flood our basement....Happy Birthday Adam!
