Happy in the Happiest Place on Earth!

So we did it. We took our kids on the trip we have actually been trying to avoid. Avoid not becuase we didn't want to go, but because we didn't think the boys were old enough to appreciate it yet. We spent a whole week in sunny southern CA! Actually it was overcast quite a bit...but you get the point. We stayed on New Port Beach, and despite the fact that we weren't driving a BMW or Mercedes...we had a blast! We visited the Beach, Sea World, and of course Disneyland! The boys had so much fun we might consider going again. I had over 400 pictures on my camera by the time we got home. I had to narrow it down to just a few highlights. The boys are still talking about some of their favorite rides. I didn't enjoy paying $3.03 for a bottle of water, but all in all it was a great time!


I had forgotten to take the cardinal picture when we got there. I tried to get one on our way home, and this was the best we could do. Logan kept yelling "no more pictures!" And...the flowers they use for Mickey's face gave me some kind of allergy.

This was Nathan's favorite. While waiting for the parade one day he was half asleep, but still managed to ask me if we could ride the horsie one!

What a fun week! I reccommend it to anyone who is considering it...unless your pregnant...then you're better off waiting so you can actually walk around and ride the rides!

We saw many interesting things in CA. There was a license place that read "Pop (heart) Jim"...what do you think that means?

Then there's wonderful billboards in NV that say $2 craps! That's the reason we didn't stop to use the bathroom while driving through....too expensive!

We won't even mention all the fat people wearing tank tops with their "unmentionables" hanging out!

I've decided the "HOME" is the Happiest Place on Earth!
