Well..I met with my Cardiologist a few days ago and my surgery is a go! I am set to receive a pig valve on June 15!
I'm not sure how I will feel about bacon after this. Will I still like a juicy pork chop every now and then? Adam has assured me that I will always hold a special place in my heart for pigs...literally!

I hope everything goes great for you with your surgery. My uncle had his valve replaced last year, and he said it wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. Good luck!! :)
